A video of Steve Aoki falling off the stage is circulating all over the internet.

In the clip, we can see Aoki stirring up the crowd as he performs his set on stage. While returning to the DJ booth, he accidentally slipped and fell hard off the stage.

Two bodyguards of the Japanese-American music producer immediately went to his aid. Still, the 44-year-old DJ got back on his feet.

Aoki proved he believed in the phrase “the show must go on” as he returned to his turntable and continued to perform his music. However, he was not seriously injured by the fall.

Aoki performed for an F1 after-party hosted by Celebrity Sports Entertainment. He was followed by several celebrities such as Dennis Rodman, Sommer Ray, Vernon Davis, as well as Shaggy.

Famous boxer Ryan Garcia was among the other attendees to show up at the event. Aoki invited him for a square on stage. They jokingly performed with Aoki throwing a cake at the boxer.

Other cases

This isn’t the first time Steve Aoki has been involved in an accident. He accidentally injured a fan during a concert in 2012.

According to the BBC, a woman named Brittany Hickman attended Aoki’s concert at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego. During the show, the producer surfed the audience using an inflatable boat which fractured Hickman’s neck. She also suffered from a concussion.

The victim sued him and the venue for a $10.7 million lawsuit.

Reps for hitmaker Waste It On Me were quick to apologize to Hickman.

They further stated that “after reaching a confidential settlement, they were given a chance to speak and Steve was given a chance to apologise”.

Aoki assured fans that his future events would be much safer.

According to Aoki’s official website, the music producer is expected to perform next at Feria de Puebla for another show. Later, he will participate in other major events until his last appointment in September at Wake The Giant Festival 2022.
